What if your stomach digested only a fraction of the food you consumed?

  1. Absorption of nutrients would decrease.
  2. Body fat would increase and muscle mass would decrease.
  3. Immune system would lower and fatigue would set in.

Full digestion of food requires a sufficient amount of hydrochloric acid (HCL) produced in the stomach. If you are the average American, stress levels can be high enough to inhibit your body’s natural production of HCL.

Many people are predisposed to injury by a lack of tilting reflexes. For example, if your foot slides out from underneath you on an unexpected slippery or mobile surface, a tilting reflex is automatically activated to correct your position. If your tilting reflexes are not well trained, the body can move out of alignment to a much greater degree in that spit second when you are “catching yourself from falling”. Dr. Vladimir Janda once stated that, “if we could speed the reflex response of our bodies by 50%, we would reduce the chances of acquiring an orthopedic injury by about 80%”.

Are You a Light Sleeper?  And Can it Affect the Results of a Personal Training Program?

This article I have to share goes out to all of you who are light sleepers.  Especially those of you who live in apartment complexes where you may have other roommates, or neighbors making noises interrupting your precious sleep.

So I have a cheap and easy solution for you and it doesn’t have to do with wearing ear plugs or telling your roommates to cut out moderate level noises such as cleaning the dishes or talking in the next room.

I currently live in an apartment complex which has fairly high traffic in the hallways as well as noises coming from my neighbors. [click to continue…]
