A really great place and a couple of very dedicated trainers.  I have worked with both of them, and primarily I work with Dom now.  I have had some issues with my back, including lumbar decompression surgery, and the support I have received from Dom has been fantastic.  He has been able to keep me working out while making sure my back is protected.
I also like their new location.  Most of the time, it is just the two of us there, and I get to pick the music!  Where else?

I work with Adin once a week.  I’d probably do it more often if I could afford it.  Adin seems to understand physiology much better than the garden variety of trainers at places like 24 hour fitness.  I’m not very flexible, so Adin’s worked to help me make sure I do enough of the right kinds of stretches so that I don’t get injuries from muscles and tendons shortening as a response to being stressed. Adin sets up highly effective workouts, with variations of both intensity and the type of exercise to prevent pattern overload, that promote strength development and muscle growth without leading to overuse injuries.  When I’ve had muscle overuse issues (shoulder and forearms) Dominique’s been good at using deep tissue massage and stretching to speed recovery in those areas so I can resume training the affected area.  In the meantime, Adin revises my workouts so that I can strengthen other areas, and recover in the affected area.
